Over the past 13 years, they have raised £27million to fund research, projects, and clinical trials to find treatments for the genetic life-limiting, muscle-wasting disease. They also fight to ensure everyone with the disease receives the best standard of care by bringing together researchers, medical experts, the NHS, and families to publish clinical guidelines on care.
