At Rosetrees, our mission is to support ambitious researchers striving to improve healthcare by exploring uncharted scientific territories. Using a venture philanthropy approach, we foster innovative ideas without limiting ourselves to specific diseases, aiming for a healthier future for all. Our vision for healthcare innovation includes advancements in diagnostics, treatments, cures, and prevention, as we believe in enhancing every aspect of healthcare delivery. We fund exceptional translational research through various innovative grant schemes, prioritizing high-risk, high-reward ideas with the potential to transform clinical care. We provide seed funding for early discovery research and collaborate with partners for larger, later-stage clinical research. Since 1990, our investments have led to over £1.15 billion in follow-on funding at over 85 institutions. In the past five years alone, our researchers have leveraged an additional £230 million from other funding bodies. With initial Rosetrees grants, we have facilitated the development of new drugs, gene therapies, diagnostic tools, therapeutic interventions, and vaccines.
