We have the pleasure of welcoming three new members to our Translational Scientific Advisory Committee (TSAC). Neil Mackison, Margaret Yu and Eddie Blair all bring a wealth experience to the committee and their support will be instrumental in helping us bridge the gap between innovators, investors, healthcare providers, and, most importantly, patients.
Neil Mackison brings an extensive background in Investment banking, with expertise in due diligence, deal structuring and valuation. He has previously held the CEO position of the European branch of a US Investment bank focused on healthcare.
Margaret Yu by training, is a medical oncologist and haematologist. Since completing her fellowship, she transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, working at Johnson & Johnson and with 15 years of experience in the field, Margaret provides invaluable insight. She is now the CMO of the biotechnology company ArtBio.
Eddie Blair has considerable experience in development and commercialization of both therapeutics and diagnostics, and a knowledge of entrepreneurship having started up and held executive positions at several SMEs. Eddie also brings a unique patient perspective to our committee and is currently the Vice-Chair of the Patient and Public Voice Panel for the NHS England East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (EGMSA).
We are incredibly grateful for their generosity in donating their time and insights to help us advance ground-breaking research and ensure impactful innovations reach those who need them most.
